To celebrate Father’s Day, I’ve already chosen and bought the perfect gifts for my hubby. I hope he loves my gift!
I bought a new watch for him and created a simple card that I simply pasted to the blue clipboard. I used the Amy Tangerine Better Together pattern paper, a photograph of him and some stickers. This is “Thank You” card for being a great father to our son.
I also chose two colors of chalk marker for the project. Just so you know, he is in love with calligraphy, so it’s perfect!
Last, but not least, I took a gold frame and added a photograph of him and our son. To make it cute, I pasted black word thickers above the picture.

I’m so excited to celebrate Fathers Day! This year, my hubby and I are celebrating Father’s Day together for the second time! Although it’s not that special and extravagant, my crafts document some photos of my hubby, which is a big deal for us.
I mixed Shimelle Starshine and Amy Tan Better Together collections to create a modern grid design. This layout is super easy and you can scraplift it if you want! *wink*.
I printed out some 4x4 cm square photos of my hubby and son, complete with a white border. Don’t be afraid to use small photos! They can still can be a hero in your layout. The trick for this layout is easy. I divided the layout into four areas. Then, simply use your favorite embellishments and add some layering.
Using some big word thickers for your title are enough and are the best way to describe how you feel about your hubby!
Again, Happy Father’s Day!

Hi guys, it's Nancy! What better way to celebrate the dads in our lives than with a scrapbook layout? This one highlights the relationship between a father and son. The journaling is written as a note to the boy and is framed with beautiful colors from the Starshine Collection by Shimelle. Turning a rainbow of circles into a background is a fun way to tell a story! Simple acrylic shapes, layering cardstock stickers and a fun Thicker title make for an easy layout with a punch of design.
Start the base of the layout by marking off a triangle that runs from diagonal corner to corner. Cut that part out and set the two remaining pieces aside. Fill the center with a rainbow of 1" circles starting with red and graduating to the darkest blue. Next, carefully align the two white side pieces of yardstick on top and glue. Add the chipboard hot air balloon and frame slightly off center and glue the photo to the top. Add the title using the Amy Tan Rise and Shine Thickers and splatter yellow paint at the lower right and upper left of the layout. Finally, add journaling strips and the Starshine heart acrylic pieces to add some texture.

Welcome to homemade goodness week on the American Crafts blog! Now I'm not much of a baker, but I do like a good, sweet treat - especially when it's beautifully package. Thanks to these Homemade with Love Treat Tins and a quick and simple recipe, I was able to package up some end of the school year treats for my son's teachers.
How to: Prepare three shallow bowls with mini M&Ms, tiny round sprinkles and regular sprinkles. Melt milk, dark and white chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat. Follow the package instructions for details (these vary depending on the brand). Next, using tons dip large pretzels into the chocolate letting the excess drip off. Then carefully drag through the topping on both sides and place on wax paper. When they are completely cooled and dry (about 2 hours), package in Treat Tins. It's that easy!

Hi guys! Gina Lideros here and today I’ll be sharing my recipe for homemade donuts that are perfect for any get-together this summer!
How To Create the Banner:
Cut donuts out of cardstock and patterned papers using cut files from the Silhouette design store, and use adhesive to glue different pieces of each donut together. String donuts to hemp twine by adhering each one down with washi tape. Display and enjoy!
How to Create Gift Label and Packaging:
Adhere a 4 inch doily to a large piece of lace. Trim a banner piece out of Say Yes Acetate paper and adhere to the center of the doily. Spell out the words "Hole Lotta Love", a play on words for donut holes, using puffy thickers and glitter foam thickers. Then, cut two 8"x8" squares of different colored tissue paper. Place tissue paper at an overlapping diagonal angle and place treats inside.

Tip: Try glazing your donuts with different glazes and toppings for more variations.
